SAMBA, AUGUST 28: Election Authority Samba on Wednesday organized a Bike Rally to promote voter awareness and enhance electoral participation. The rally was flagged off by ADC Jagdish Singh in presence of SDM Vijaypur Umesh Sharma and Tehsildar Bari Brahmana, Punica.
Conducted under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) program, the event was organized by District Nodal Officer SVEEP Ekshu Sharma and Nodal Officer for 71 AC Parul Khajuria.
The rally started from Smailpur Ground and concluded at Badhori Ground in Bari Brahmana, Samba.
The vibrant event witnessed the participation from the police led by SHO Bari Brahmana Inspector Sumeet Sharma, alongside government officials, members of BAGs and civilians.
A notable feature of the rally was the involvement of Booth Level Officers (BLOs) who rode alongside other participants, showcasing their commitment to fostering an informed and engaged electorate.
The BLOs’ participation on bikes symbolized their role in connecting the electoral process with the community, reinforcing the importance of each vote.
