RAMBAN, AUGUST 22: As part of monitoring efforts for the General Election Legislative Assembly (GELA) 2024, Election Expenditure Observer Sulekh Chand Jain today took stock of the security and management of the Strong Room located within the District Administrative Complex, Ramban.
During the visit, the Expenditure Observer was accompanied by Deputy District Election Officer Abdul Jabar and other officials. The Observer expressed satisfaction over the Strong Room arrangements, emphasizing compliance to Election Commission of India (ECI) guidelines.
The Expenditure Observer also visited the office of the Returning Officer for Assembly Constituency-54 Ramban, where he sought necessary information and reviewed the functioning of the office. He reiterated the importance of adhering to the ECI guidelines to ensure free, fair, and transparent elections.
Additionally, Sulekh Chand Jain assured the officers of full cooperation and guidance throughout the election process. He stressed the need for proper reporting and efficient operations to ensure smooth conduct of elections in Assembly Constituencies, AC-54 Ramban and AC-55 Banihal.
