RAMBAN, AUGUST 30: To ensure vibrant participation in the upcoming General Election to Legislative Assembly , the District Election Authority, under the guidance of District Election Officer (DEO) Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, organized a series of voter awareness programs today in the Sub-division Ramsoo, falling under AC-55-Banihal.
The awareness drive, spearheaded by the District SVEEP (Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation) team, took place at Government Higher Secondary School, Ramsoo, Government Higher Secondary School, Ukhral and in other key areas. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to target regions with historically low voter turnout, aiming to boost electoral participation.
The District SVEEP team, which included Assistant Nodal Officers Manjeet Singh, Abdul Hamid and Suraj Parkash, actively participated in the programme under the supervision of District Nodal Officer SVEEP, S. Bikram Singh.
The events witnessed significant participation, with a large number of local residents, prominent citizens, female voters and students taking part.
This effort underscores the commitment of the administration to fostering an informed and engaged electorate, ensuring that every eligible voter is encouraged and empowered to cast their vote in the upcoming elections.
