Assembly Elections- 2024 Training programme for female employees held at Bandipora

BANDIPORA, AUGUST 29: The District Election office Bandipora on Thursday organised a training programme at Mini Secretariat, aimed at preparing female employees for their roles in the upcoming assembly elections and to equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge of the electoral process.

The training programme was attended by Chief Education Officer Kishore Kumar, DyCEO / Nodal Officer ManPower and female officials to be deputed for election duty at pink polling stations.

The training programme focused on preparing female employees for their roles in facilitating pink polling stations during the upcoming assembly elections

The training was provided by District Level Master Trainer, M Iqbal Samoon who highlighted roles and responsibility of female employees for effective management of polling stations.

District Level Master Trainer, also deliberated on various electoral procedures, besides Training on the use of electronic voting machines (EVMs) was also provided to ensure that female employees are proficient in operating the necessary equipment at pink polling stations.
