KISHTWAR, MAY 14: The Department of Labour, in collaboration with the Department of ICDS today organized an awareness camp on Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana (PM-SYM) at the Office of the Programme Officer ICDS Kishtwar.
During the programme, on-the-spot registration of eligible Anganwadi Helpers in the age group of 18–40 years was facilitated through Common Service Centres (CSCs). A total of 6 Anganwadi Helpers were successfully registered under the scheme during the camp.
The officers highlighted the significance of social security and government welfare schemes and urged all eligible workers to avail themselves of the benefits of the government-sponsored pension initiative to ensure a secure and dignified future.
The awareness programme was jointly led by Programme Officer ICDS Dr Rishi Kumar Sharma and Assistant Labour Commissioner Mamta Sudershan.
