BUDGAM, DECEMBER 03: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Budgam in collaboration with Oxford Institution Budgam today organized an awareness programme on ‘Sexual Harassment of Women at Work Place (POSH Act 2013)’ within the school campus, here.
The programme was organized under the aegis of J&K Legal Services Authority and under the guidance of O.P Baghat, Chairman DLSA (Pr.& Distt.Judge) Budgam and under the Supervision of Nusrat Ali Hakak, Secretary DLSA Budgam.
Panel Lawyer of DLSA Budgam while deliberating on the topic said that the act provides protection against sexual harassment of women at work place and for the prevention and redressal of complaints of sexual harassment and for matters connected to it.
Chairman of the Institute also spoke on the occasion and acknowledged the role of DLSA for choosing this institution as collaborative part of this programme.
The programme witnessed the active participation of officials of DLSA, teaching and non teaching staff of the institution, PLVs (Adhikaar Mitras) and Panel Lawyers of DLSA Budgam.
