Bandipora, November 11: The Second phase of Back to Village-5 (B2V5) programme Saturday culminated in 51 Gram Panchayats of Bandipora district, with much enthusiasm and public participation.

On day second of the second phase, Senior Officers of district administration visited various Gram Panchayats of the district to monitor the proceedings of the ambitious Back to Village programme.

On the occasion, the officers were accompanied by the concerned tehsildars and BDOs.

Gram Sabhas were organised in all the 51 Panchayats under phase second of B2V5 and visiting officers participated in these special gram sabhas.

Sports kits, soil health cards, artisans registration cards, land passbooks, child care kits and indoor game kits were distributed among the beneficiaries by the visiting officers at their respective stations.

During the second phase of B2V5 programme, the visiting officers were seen interacting with members of the Gram Sabha, administering pledges to make our system and society corruption free.

The formulation of GPDP, distribution of land passbooks, inspection of public offices, inspection of works taken up under various CSS, B2V and other schemes, inspection of Amrit Sarovar projects, awareness on Self Employment scheme and feedback on welfare schemes were some of the activities carried out during the second phase.

The visiting officers documented all the grievances projected during these days and assured them of early redressal of their genuine issues and demands.

The resource persons also educated the public about scores of welfare schemes and programmes being implemented in the district and motivated them to avail the benefits of the same.
