Srinagar, Oct 08: The Bahar-I-Adab Tilgam orchestrated a grand book launch event at Kunzar Tangmarg on Sunday, unveiling the highly-anticipated book, ‘Sadfus Manz Dardaan,’ in the presence of eminent personalities.
Written by Syed Nadim Bukhari, the book delves into the various facets of the life of the Sufi literature enthusiast Late Mohammad Asadullah Mir Pasnagi, who hailed from Pasnag in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
The inauguration ceremony, marked by its grandeur, was presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Shad Ramzan, the Convener of the Kashmiri Board of Sahitya Academy, lending an aura of intellectual eminence to the event.
Renowned broadcaster and former Director of All India Radio Srinagar, Syed Humayun Qaiser, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, adding to the luster of the gathering.
Mr. Muhammad Amin Bhat, noted broadcaster and former President of Aadbi Markaz Kamraz, attended as the guest of honor.
The stage featured luminaries like Syed Uddin Saadi, Nazir Hussain Hussain Gowhar, Patron of Aadbi Markaz Kamraz, Dr. Rafiq Masoudi, a former broadcaster, Rashid Roshan, President of Bahar e Adab Tilgam, and Ghulam Hasan Bhat.
Shahid Dilnavi’s essay on the book, “Sadafas Munz Dardan Akh Silsbeel,” presented by Abid Ashraf, eloquently dissected the literary prowess of ‘Sadfus Manz Dardaan.’
A diverse gathering of writers, poets, and ardent literature enthusiasts from the valley added vibrancy to the event, making it a true celebration of literature.
The event was further enriched by the presence of Javid Ahmad Mir, Nazir Ahmad Mir, and Mohammad Azam Mir, who warmly welcomed the guests.
The book launch function of ‘Sadfus Manz Dardaan’ will be remembered as a remarkable gathering that celebrated the rich literary heritage of the region, leaving an indomitable imprint on the hearts of all those in attendance.
