Baramulla Observes 5th Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

BARAMULLA, NOVEMBER 18: The District Administration Baramulla today marked the 5th Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan with a special programme organised by the Social Welfare Department Baramulla at the Main Hall of the DC Office Baramulla.

The event aimed to reinforce the collective resolve to eliminate the menace of drug abuse from society.
On the occasion, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Baramulla administered a pledge against drug abuse to the participants, urging everyone to play an active role in creating a drug-free environment across the district.
District Social Welfare Officer, highlighted the growing challenges posed by substance abuse and stressed the importance of community involvement, awareness drives, and early intervention to safeguard youth and families.

The programme witnessed a large gathering of civil society members, students, frontline workers, and officials from various departments, reflecting strong community support towards the national mission.
Speakers underscored the need for coordinated efforts, continuous awareness campaigns, and responsible engagement to curb drug addiction and promote healthier lifestyles.

The event concluded with a renewed commitment from stakeholders to strengthen ongoing initiatives under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and to work collectively for a drug-free Baramulla.
