BJP announces its first list of candidates

Jammu, Aug 26 : Since the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has issued the list of candidates for 16 out of 24 constituencies going for polls in the first phase, a clear picture about the contest is emerging.

Many bigwigs will be filing their nominations on Tuesday, which is the last date of nomination for the first phase, and it will be upto to people to decide who should represent them in the legislative Assembly.

As per the news agency, BJP released a list 16 candidates which have the name of stalwarts like Sunil Sharma, Daleep Parihar and Shakti Raj Parihar who will b having a litmus test to repeat the 2014 like performance and provide an opportunity to the provide to form the government in Jammu and Kashmir.

Sunil Sharma will be contesting from newly carved Padder-Nagseni constituency of Kishtwar district whereas Shakti Parihar will also contest from newly carved Doda west constituency. Daleep Parihar will be contesting his parent seat Bhaderwah, which he won in 2014 Assembly elections

But the ruling party candidates will be having a tough competition from National Conference and Congress candidates who are fighting friendly on few seats and also in alliance on other seats.

All these candidates will be filing their nomination papers tomorrow.
