Jammu, Aug 05 : The ruling Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) has lashed out on Congress party for observing the Abrogation of Article 370 and 35-A as black day and asked them to clear their stand whether they want this article back in Jammu and Kashmir due to which B R Ambedkar’s constitution wasn’t implemented in J&K.

BJP’s J&K election incharge and union minister G Kishan Reddy and party’s national general secretary Tarun Chugh didn’t mince words to attack the Congress party for observing the historic day as black day.

According to the news agency, BJP had organized a massive Ekatma Mahotsav rally in Bana Singh stadium in Ranbir Singh Pura, in outskirts of Jammu where thousands of party workers and leaders participated to celebrate the day.

Every BJP leader was in a fiery mood to attack their rival Congress party and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their historic decision five years ago which paved the way for a new era of development in Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the function, Reddy said, “Those who are celebrating Black Day, let them celebrate Black Day throughout their lives. We will strive hard to bring light in the lives of people of Jammu and Kashmir.”

“We had given the slogan of abrogating Art 370 since independence but on August 5, 2019 under leadership of PM Modi and HM Shah, Parliament took a historic decision. Today it has been five years, and we have organised events at various places in Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate this historic event.”

Attacking Congress party and National Conference, Reddy said, “Both the parties are saying that if returned to power they will bring back Art 370 but we would like to assure people that neither Congress nor NC will be able to form government and Article 370 will not be implemented again. By the support of people and under Modi’s leadership, we have achieved a lot during these five years in terms of development and have implemented B R Ambedkar’s constitution in J&K.”

He said that BJP will be able to form the government after forthcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

Talking to media person, BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh said that BJP is celebrating the anniversary of abrogation of Art 370 and 35-A everywhere which Modi led government on August 5, 2019 had done away with and are distributing sweets. “People are happy that they got rid of art 370, end of terrorism started, stone throwing vanished and J&K moved towards faith and development. But I am amused that by sitting in the lap of Farooq Abdullah’s Gupkar gang, Congress leaders are crying. By downing black cloths they are protesting in crossroads.”

“They must make it clear whether Congress is in favour of bringing back Art 370. They must answer why these three families didn’t allow implementation of B R Ambedkar’s constitution in J&K. People want to know why Abdullahs, Muftis and Gandhis didn’t allow it. Is implementing Constitution wrong? Does Congress want to take back J&K to Do-Vidhan (Two constitutions), Do-Nishan (two Symbols) and Do-Pradhan (two heads)? People of J&K will reject these parties,” Chugh said.
