BUDGAM, OCTOBER 23: The first randomization of polling staff designated for deployment across 173 polling stations for the Bye-Elections to 27-Assembly Constituency Budgam was today held at Budgam.

The randomization was carried out by the District Election Officer (DEO) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, in accordance with the guidelines stipulated by the Election Commission of India (ECI).

Through this process, software-generated deployment of 1020 employees, including a 50% reserve, was completed to ensure transparency, fairness, and impartiality in the deployment of polling staff.

Returning Officer (RO) 27-AC Budgam, Deputy District Election Officer (Dy. DEO), Nodal Officer ETBPS, and other officers were present during the randomisation process.

Speaking on the occasion, the DEO Budgam emphasised that the District Administration is fully committed to conducting free, fair, inclusive, and peaceful elections in the constituency.

He further directed all concerned officers to ensure that every arrangement from training of polling staff to logistics and communication facilities is completed well in advance as per the ECI mandate.

The DEO also reiterated that transparency and accountability shall remain the guiding principles throughout all stages of the electoral process for bye-Election to 27-AC Budgam.
