Bandipora, October 25: In order to ensure the efficient and timely execution of development projects and schemes, the Chairman of the District Development Council (DDC) Bandipora, Ab Gani Bhat, Wednesday convened a meeting to assess the progress and status of Rural Development Department works and schemes within the district.
The meeting was attended by Vice Chairperson Kowsar Shafeeq besides all the members of District Development Council Bandipora. Among others, the meeting was attended by ADDC Bandipora Ali Afsar Khan, Nodal Officer Coordination/ACD Bandipora Mohomad Ashraf Hakak besides the officials of Rural Development Department Bandipora.
The meeting threadbare discussed the current state of ongoing projects and evaluate the efficacy of rural development programs including comprehensive assessment of the status of ongoing projects and programs.
The DDC directed the officers to Identify any obstacles or challenges that may be impeding the progress of rural development initiatives and work collaboratively to find solutions.
He laid stress on transparency in project implementation and expenditure, ensuring that every rupee allocated for development is utilized judiciously.
The Vice Chairperson on the occasion urged for community participation in the planning and execution of development projects in order to ensure they align with local needs and priorities.
On the occasion, the officials of the Rural Development Department provided detailed project details/updates and highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve rural infrastructure, livelihood opportunities, and quality of life for the people of Bandipora district.
