Commerce College organises awareness program on Road Safety, Rules

JAMMU, DECEMBER 19: Government SPMR College of Commerce today organised an awareness program on Road safety and Traffic rules here under the supervision of Principal of the College Prof (Dr.) Rajinder Singh.

The PG (pursuing M Com) students of Commerce spoke on the theme. The Students were updated on the road safety measures through a powerpoint presentation. The program was aimed to educate the youth regarding the traffic norms and to avoid reckless driving. It was divulged that the youth accidents have increased because of reckless driving and following speed control limits and the traffic rules can save human lives.

The Convener of Road safety club of the College, Dr. Vipul chalotra gave a presentation on abiding traffic rules wherein a lot of rules pertaining to traffic were demonstrated.

Dr. Rouf Ahmed Bhat also connotes many examples and shared experiences that are crucial while driving. Dr. Purnima Bakshi and Dr. Asha Rani also quoted major themes that one should understand and abide by while driving. The students of M Com Ajmeet Kour, Nikhil Singh, Muwahid Khan, Devika Sharma shared their experiences and stated the Pros of taking traffic rules into consideration. The vote of thanks was presented by Dr Asha Rani.
