PULWAMA, SEPTEMBER 13: Cultural Unit Srinagar, in collaboration with the District Information Centre Pulwama of DIPR J&K, organized a cultural programme at Jenab Gareeb Abdul Khaliq Memorial Committee, Tenghar Pulwama.
The event was held in remembrance of the revered Sufi poet, Jenab Gareeb Abdul Khaliq whose literary and spiritual contributions continue to inspire generations.
On the occasion, Cultural Officer Srinagar, Burhan Hussain in his address highlighted the importance of preserving, promoting, and reviving the rich cultural heritage of the region. He emphasized that cultural activities like these serve as a strong medium to connect communities with their roots and to carry forward the legacy of Sufi thought, art, and tradition.
The programme was well attended by literary figures, artists, and members of the local community, who appreciated the efforts of DIPR J&K in fostering cultural awareness and strengthening the bond of harmony through such meaningful initiatives.
