SRINAGAR, AUGUST 14: Continuing the series of programmes being organised in connection with Independence Day Celebrations, 2026, the Cultural Unit Srinagar of the Information Department organised vibrant patriotic programmes at GMS Soura, Srinagar, and Police Public School Bemina.
The programmes comprised Painting, Speech, Quiz and Singing activities, witnessing enthusiastic participation of students who displayed their creativity, talent and deep sense of patriotism.
The programmes aimed at inculcating patriotic fervour among students and sensitising them towards the ideals of freedom, unity, sacrifice, national integrity and responsible citizenship.
Abdul Raqib Bhat, Cultural Officer, Kashmir, and Syed Shakeel Shan, AECO, attended the programmes and appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation and commendable performances. They also lauded the school authorities for their valuable cooperation and support in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the programmes.
