ANANTNAG, FEBRUARY 02: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, SF Hamid, today directed all concerned officers to ensure time-bound and quality-checked redressal of public grievances received through the JK Samadhan and CPGRAMS portals, emphasizing that responses must be substantive, fact-based, and outcome-oriented.

He underscored that prompt and quality grievance disposal by line departments is critical to improving public service delivery and maintaining public trust.

The DC also stressed the need for expeditious disposal of offline grievances, particularly those pertaining to the Revenue, Public Health Engineering (PHE), Rural Development Department (RDD), Power Development Department (PDD), and other departments, with a clear focus on clearing pendency in the district.

These directions were issued while chairing a comprehensive review meeting of all departments at Dak Bungalow, Khanabal.

Taking note of the limited time remaining in the current financial year, the DC directed all departments to expedite ongoing works and expenditure under all Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSSs) and other development programmes. He emphasized timely completion of physical works, including SASCI and other priority government initiatives, to ensure effective and optimal utilization of approved funds within the current financial year.

The meeting was attended by the Principal, Government Medical College Anantnag; Additional District Development Commissioner; Additional Deputy Commissioner; Superintending Engineers of PWD, Jal Shakti/PHE and KPDCL; General Manager, DIC; Chief Planning Officer; Sub-Divisional Magistrates; Executive Engineers of R&B, Jal Shakti/PHE, PDD and I&FC; Assistant Commissioner Development, all district and sectoral officers, and District Coordinators and Programme Managers of various Central and UT-sponsored schemes and projects.
