DC Bandipora conducts extensive tour of Block Bonakoot

BANDIPORA, JUNE 05: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman on Wednesday conducted an extensive field tour of Block Bonakoot and inspected various ongoing works including WSS Bonakoot, WSS Pazalpora, Health centre Authwatoo and Eco Park Chandaji.

The DC directed Ex. Engineer Jal Shakti Department to frame a list of works that require electricity and coordinate with JKPDCL so that an uninterrupted power supply can be ensured to such sites for proper and effective functioning.

During the visit, the DC emphasized completion of ongoing works within the stipulated timeframe. He also directed the concerned to ensure quality material is being used and emphasized regular quality checks.

Executive Engineer, PMGSY apprised the Deputy Commissioner that work on 6Km Peerbothu-Chandaji road is going on and out of 6Km, macadamisation on 3.5Km has been completed and rest 2.5 Km will be completed within the set timeline.

He also informed that the construction of one bridge has been finished while work on another bridge is in progress.

Executive Engineer Hydraulic Division Bandipora informed the Deputy Commissioner that work on Water Supply Scheme Bonakoot and Water Supply Scheme Pazalpora is in final stage and will be completed within the stipulated time frame.

Executive Engineer, R&B Division Bandipora informed the Deputy Commissioner that work on Sub Center Authwatoo is in progress and will be completed within the given timeframe.

Later, the DC visited Ecopark Chandaji, inspected ongoing work, and directed the concerned to construct environment friendly structures to preserve the natural ecosystem and its beauty.

During the visit, the DC was accompanied by Executive Engineers of R&B Division Bandipora, Hydraulic Division Bandipora, PMGSY and PDD besides others concerned.
