BANDIPORA, DECEMBER 29: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, conducted a late-night surprise visit to the Fire and Emergency Service Station Bandipora and the Grid Station at Potushai to review preparedness, functioning and staff availability.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner checked duty rosters, availability of manpower, operational readiness of equipment and adherence to standard protocols.
On the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with on-duty staff and stressed the importance of alertness, discipline and round-the-clock preparedness, especially during winter months and emergency situations.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officials to ensure uninterrupted services, regular monitoring and timely response to any exigency, reiterating that public safety infrastructure must remain fully functional at all times.
