BARAMULLA, JULY 22: To assess and accelerate the developmental works in the district, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa Monday chaired a meeting with concerned officers at the meeting hall of DC office here to review the progress of various projects under the execution of the Roads and Buildings (R&B) sector.
At the outset, the meeting was provided a comprehensive overview of the current status of all developmental works undertaken by the R&B Department during the current year.
The DC meticulously examined the progress of projects including ongoing macadamization works and other works falling under various schemes, including District Capex, NABARD and other government sponsored schemes. The review encompassed a wide array of initiatives aimed at enhancing the district’s infrastructure and connectivity.
During the meeting, the DC directed the officers present to ensure timely completion of all the projects undertaken by the department for the financial year 2024-25 and effectively commission them for the public service.
The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer Baramulla, Superintending Engineer R&B, Executive Engineers and other officials.
