Upon receiving the distressing news, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, visited the bereaved family to personally offer condolences and express solidarity with them during this difficult time.

Dr Bilal assured the families that strict action will be taken against anyone found negligent, and justice will prevail.

DC further said that, an enquiry committee has already been constituted to investigate the incident thoroughly.
He said that the committee will ascertain as to how the electrocution incident occurred, identify any lapses, and ensure that accountability is fixed.

He assured the administration is fully committed to a transparent, time-bound enquiry, and any official or individual found guilty of negligence will face action as per the law.
