KISHTWAR, OCTOBER 14: The progress of digitization of Land Records, with special focus on AgriStack, saturation of Farmer IDs and Digital Crop Survey (DCS) in district Kishtwar was reviewed today here at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Sharma in presence of District Mentor (Additional District Development Commissioner Poonch) Amarjeet Singh.

At the outset, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Mohammad Idrees Lone presented a detailed PowerPoint presentation, highlighting the profile of Kishtwar district, which comprises 3 Sub-Divisions, 11 Tehsils, 31 Naibats, 41 Patwar Halqas and 156 villages.

While reviewing the progress under AgriStack, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned Tehsildars, particularly Kishtwar, Marwah and Chhatroo, to clear the pendency on priority.

While reviewing the saturation of Farmer IDs, it was apprised that out of 156 villages, 119 have been bucketted with 79,127 buckets created. Against the PM-Kisan beneficiary list of 15,517, a total of 14,090 Farmer IDs have been created as of October 14, 2026, with 65,037 pending. Tehsil-wise performance was also reviewed, with Warwan leading at 39.34%, followed by Marwah at 34.41% and Chhatroo at 26.48%. The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to expedite bucketing of the remaining 37 villages and accelerate Farmer ID creation.

While reviewing the Digital Crop Survey (DCS), the meeting was informed that out of 14,476 total plots assigned, surveyors have completed the survey of 13,622 plots, with the work reported as 100% complete at surveyor level.

As many as 857 plots (5.92%) have been marked as ‘unable to survey’, while 13,620 plots have been approved by the approver. The Deputy Commissioner stressed for 100% completion with proper verification, particularly in Paddar Tehsil where 480 plots have been marked as ‘unable to survey.’

The meeting also reviewed the status of pending inheritance mutations. A total of 1,355 inheritance mutations have been identified, out of which 259 have been initiated and approved, leaving a backlog of 1,096, with 19.11% approval. The highest pendency was noted in Bounjwah (432), Dachhan (220) and Kishtwar (164). The chair directed the concerned officers to ensure time-bound clearance.

While reviewing progress under the SVAMITVA Scheme, it was informed that Abadi Deh has been recorded for 148 out of 156 villages and the drone survey completed for 148 villages. As many as 121 maps have been verified and sent to the Survey of India, while final data for property cards have been prepared for 90 villages. A total of 3,091 property cards have been generated in the district. At present, 14 maps are lying with Tehsils and 44 with the Survey of India.

The meeting further reviewed the digitization of maps under BISAG and PM Gati Shakti. Under BISAG, out of 156 villages comprising 154 rural and 02 urban, 54 maps have been received through ArcGIS.
