DODA, OCTOBER 16: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh today encouraged the students to strive to achieve big and contribute positively to the society.
He was addressing the students and staff at the annual day function of Faridia Model Higher Secondary School, where he was the Chief Guest. The event marked a significant occasion to acknowledge school’s academic excellence and the holistic growth of its students.
Former Minister, Khalid Najib Suharwardy and Patron of the school was the Guest of Honour.
The Deputy Commissioner Doda lauded the school for imparting quality education and fostering discipline, creativity and moral values among students. He encouraged young learners to strive for excellence and contribute positively to society.
The celebration featured a colourful cultural programme including Naats, debates and skill-based performances, showcasing diverse talents and creativity of the students. Prizes and awards were distributed among meritorious students for their achievements in academics, sports and extracurricular activities.
On this special occasion, a book titled “Roshni Ka Safar” was also released, highlighting school’s journey, achievements and contributions in the field of education.
Principal Shahida Khan expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, the Patron, parents and guests for their continued support and encouragement, which have been instrumental in the school’s growth and success.
