DODA, MARCH 08: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh today spearheaded the inauguration of a business venture M/S Shuriti Cloth House, here near Post Office Doda.
The Business establishment, sponsored by the District Industries Centre Doda, marks a significant milestone in the district to foster entrepreneurship among the youth through the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP).
The initiative aims to provide young entrepreneurs with the necessary support and resources to kick-start their own businesses, thereby stimulating economic growth and development within the region.
By facilitating access to funding and guidance, the PMEGP empowers individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations and contribute meaningfully to the local economy.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several government functionaries, including Tehsildar, officers from DIC and members of the civil society.
