The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Kathua, Surinder Mohan Sharma; Chief Planning Officer Kathua, Ranjit Thakur; Chief Executive Officer Municipal Council Kathua, and Executive Officers of Municipal Committees Basohli, Billawar, Hiranagar, Lakhanpur and Parole.

While reviewing the physical and financial progress of cases under PMAY 2.0, the Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to expedite the verification and approval process of pending applications. He emphasized that all cases should be processed strictly on merit and in accordance with the scheme guidelines.

The DC further instructed the officers to ensure that deficient applications are promptly scrutinized and rejected with due justification so that genuine beneficiaries are not deprived of the benefit.
