KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 22: In a proactive move to bolster efforts against polio, the Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr. Devansh Yadav spearheaded a crucial Task Force Meeting on Pulse Polio Immunization 2024.
The meeting convened stakeholders from various sectors to strategics and chart a course for a successful polio vaccination campaign in the district.

Highlighting the significance of the initiative, emphasizing the importance of collective action, DC Kishtwar underscored the district’s commitment to eradicating polio and safeguarding the health of its citizens.
The agenda encompassed a comprehensive review of past immunization endeavors, analysis of current challenges, and formulation of a robust action plan for the upcoming campaign. Participants engaged in constructive dialogue, exchanging insights and experiences to optimize strategies and address pertinent issues.

DC Kishtwar emphasized upon microplanning and enlisting of all High-risk areas of the district for 100% coverage.
The chair was also informed for the support from anganwadi staff and helpers to be part of vaccination team in their areas.
