KULGAM, NOVEMBER 29: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan today conducted an extensive tour of various areas of the district to review the progress of various developmental projects.
The projects inspected included the construction of the Chowgam Migrant Colony, Modern Slaughter house at Kulgam, NTPHC Chowgam, and PHC Devsar besides others.
During the visit, the DC took first-hand stock of the construction progress and directed the concerned officers to expedite the work to ensure timely completion.
He emphasized the importance of completing these projects at the earliest so they can be dedicated to the public for their benefit.
The DC also visited the Kisan Khidmat Ghar (KKG) at Devsar, one of the facilities established under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP). At KKG, he interacted with the farmers and briefed them on the utility and significance of the KKG and various projects being implemented under HADP.
He encouraged farmers to make full use of the services offered at the KKG to enhance their agricultural practices and livelihoods.
Accompanying the DC were ADC, Viqar Ahmad Giri; CMO, DAO, Tehsildars, BMO and other officers.
