KULGAM, MAY 04: Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Shahzad Alam, today visited the District Veterinary Hospital Kulgam to inspect various sections and review the overall functioning of the institution.
During the visit, the DC took stock of the availability of veterinary services, essential medicines, equipment, and staff deployment.
He inspected key sections of the hospital and reviewed facilities for treatment, vaccination, and care of livestock.
The concerned officers briefed the DC about the functioning of the hospital and apprised him of the achievements, challenges, and requirements for further improvement.
Emphasizing the importance of quality animal healthcare services, Shahzad Alam directed the concerned officers to ensure timely treatment of livestock, adequate availability of medicines, and proper maintenance of hospital infrastructure.
He also stressed the need to strengthen field outreach and vaccination drives to safeguard livestock health and support the rural economy.
