DC Kulgam visits Paniwah, provides immediate relief to fire-affected families

KULGAM, DECEMBER 12: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, today visited Paniwah village to express solidarity with families affected by a devastating fire incident, and to oversee the distribution of emergency relief.

During the visit, the DC conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the affected families and assured them of comprehensive support from the District Administration.

It was also informed that Rs. 246500 has been sanctioned under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) on a war footing to ensure further assistance to each affected family.

In addition, essential supplies including blankets, food kits and utensils from the Red Cross, were provided to aid the victims in this challenging time.

The DC urged the public to take extra precautions to prevent such incidents.
Accompanying the DC were ADC, ACR, Tehsildar Kulgam and other officials.
