KUPWARA, AUGUST 18: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse today chaired a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) to review the applications received under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U 2.0).
ADDC Kupwara, Mufti Fareed ud din; ACR Kupwara, Peerzada Mumtaz Ahmad; Tehsildars, officers from Agriculture, Municipal Committees, Social Welfare and other concerned officials were present on the occasion.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed the status of applications submitted under PMAY-U 2.0 and examined their eligibility as per the scheme guidelines. The DC emphasized for ensuring transparency and adherence to norms while scrutinizing the cases so that the benefits of the scheme reach the genuine beneficiaries in a time-bound manner.
He directed the concerned officers to ensure proper verification of the applications received so that the deserving households are provided financial assistance under the PMAY-U 2.0 scheme.
The DC directed the concerned officers to expedite the verification process and remove bottlenecks, if any, to facilitate timely approval and sanction of houses under the scheme. He also stressed on close coordination among the concerned departments for effective implementation of PMAY-U 2.0 in the District.
