POONCH, MARCH 04: Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Kundal today flagged off a Women Motor Bike Rally under the theme “Nasha Mukat Seemayen, Ride for Strength, Break the Chain.” under the banner of Shakti Udghosh Foundation from Dak Bungalow Poonch.
During the event, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the bikers, commending their courage and emphasizing the importance of safe travel in hilly areas. He highlighted how such initiatives play a crucial role in empowering women and raising awareness in the community.
The rally showcased the strength and resilience of women as it traveled from Kathua through Akhnoor and Rajouri, concluding its journey from Poonch to Jammu.
District Social Welfare Officer Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt was also present on the concluding day, reinforcing the significance of community engagement in fostering a supportive environment for eradicating drug menace.
