POONCH, FEBRUARY 12: District Development Commissioner Poonch Ashok Kumar Sharma today formally launched the official website of DNRM Government Model Girls Higher Secondary School Sheesh Mahal Poonch (www.sheeshmahalschool.in) in the school’s ICT Lab.
The launch ceremony was attended by Chief Education Officer Poonch Mukhtar Ahmed, Principal Anjuman Shaheen, staff and students.
Gurmeet Singh, Teacher, delivered a comprehensive presentation highlighting the key features of the website. He informed that the platform will facilitate online admissions, regular academic updates, access to important notices and enhanced communication between the school administration and parents. The website aims to improve transparency, efficiency and accessibility in school functioning.
The DC appreciated the efforts of the school administration and staff for embracing digital transformation. He congratulated the institution for taking a progressive step towards modernising education, adding that such initiatives strengthen the education system by integrating technology into academic administration.
The Chief Education Officer also commended the school for adopting innovative practices that align with the broader vision of digital governance and smart educational infrastructure.
