During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed review of the performance of the concerned departments in processing CLU applications and examined the status of all pending cases.

A total of 49 CLU cases were taken up for consideration. Of these, 09 cases were approved, 15 were rejected, 04 were reverted to the concerned departments for compliance, while 21 cases were deferred for further examination and submission of the required documents.

Emphasising transparency, efficiency and accountability in the disposal of CLU cases, the Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned officers to ensure the timely issuance of No Objection Certificates (NOCs), after proper scrutiny and verification of all relevant documents.
