The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Varunjeet Singh Charak; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Shokat Hayat Mattoo; SDM Banihal, Mohammad Naseeb Bajran; SDM Gool, Imtiaz Ahmed; SDM Ramsoo, Syed Mazahir Hussain Shah, besides other Revenue officials.

Reviewing issues related to Land Acquisition, the Deputy Commissioner directed the Collectors to strictly adhere to rules and established norms while acquiring land for the government projects.

The DC further emphasized the importance of timely disposal of pending Revenue Court Cases, with transparency, efficiency and accountability as benchmarks.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the Tehsildars to organise public grievances redressal camps at least at two villages in a week in respective tehsils. He also instructed the SDMs to preside over such camps once a week.

While reviewing services under PSGA, the Deputy Commissioner reiterated that all notified public services must be delivered within the stipulated timelines mandated by the Act. He cautioned officials that delays or negligence in service delivery would not be tolerated.

Reaffirming the District administration’s commitment to strengthening governance at the grassroots level, the DC said that prompt and quality redressal of public grievances and revenue matters is crucial for ensuring effective and citizen-friendly service delivery.
