DC Reasi chairs meet to discusses modalities to strengthen Mission YUVA

REASI, MARCH 3: A key meeting on the Institutional Business Support Mechanism under Mission YUVA was convened in Reasi under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Reasi Ms Nidhi Malik.

The meeting attended by the representatives from the Small Business Development Unit (SBDU) and the business Help Desks (BHD) teams to streamline the implementation process by ensuring a clear understanding of roles and responsibilities among all stakeholders.

During the session, Deputy Commissioner Reasi emphasised on the need for a well-coordinated approach to effectively execute Mission YUVA’s objectives. She underscored the importance of each stakeholder having a thorough understanding of their roles to ensure seamless and efficient implementation. A detailed presentation was conducted, outlining the specific responsibilities of each stakeholder involved in the mission to enhance clarity and accountability.

During the session, Deputy Commissioner underscored the importance of each stakeholder having a thorough understanding of their roles to ensure seamless and efficient implementation of Mission YUVA. She also emphasized on the selection of Yuva Doots who will play a vital role in grassroot outreach and the execution of Mission YUVA.

It was decided that the selection process would adhere to the guidelines outlined in the Yuva Doot Document to ensure transparency and fairness.

DC Reasi stressed the need for coordinated efforts from all stakeholders as Mission YUVA is a handholding scheme of government of JK UT aimed at empowering the youth by providing them with skill development opportunities, employment support and entrepreneurial guidance. The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to work towards ensuring the initiative reaches its intended beneficiaries and creates meaningful opportunities for the youth of Reasi. ADDC Sukhdev Samyal, CPO Narinder Kumar, SDMs, AD employment Annie Vaid, DSEO, CAO, FM DIC and others attended the meeting.
