SHOPIAN, MARCH 13: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Shishir Gupta today chaired a meeting to review the performance of the Jan Aushadhi store functioning in the district hospital over the past three years.
The chair was informed about the availability of medicines and monthly sales of the store. Keeping in view below par performance of the Store, DC directed CMO and MS DH to ensure that all major and essential medicines remain available at the store at all times so as to enhance the store’s performance.
He further stressed the need for regular monitoring of the store affairs to ensure accountability, performance and smooth operations.
Furthermore, DC also called for legible prescription/report writing by all medical practitioners as per MCI/ NMC guidelines and instructed regular prescription audits by the supervising officers.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Shopian, Dr. Nasir Ahmad Lone; ADC Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz; CMO Shopian, Medical Superintendent, District Nodal Officer Ayush and BMOs.
