DC reviews implementation of District Capex Budget 2024-25 in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, MARCH 20: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan today chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the sector-wise physical and financial status of projects undertaken under the District Capex Plan 2024-25.

The Chief Planning Officer apprised the meeting that the majority of the works taken up under the District Capex 2024-25 have been completed, with the work on remaining projects currently in progress.

Furthermore, it was highlighted that the financial progress under District Capex corresponds with the physical targets achieved so far, without any hindrances.

Speaking at the meeting, the DC underscored the significance of close monitoring and coordination among departments to overcome bottlenecks and ensure seamless project progress.

The officers were asked to provide regular updates and promptly resolve issues to avoid delays, highlighting the need for efficient execution to benefit the General Public. The DC strongly warned against the operation of the camp offices of the departments, including Agriculture, PMGSY, PWD, Soil Conservation, and others in the district headquarters.

The meeting was attended by ACD Phulail Singh; Deputy Registrar Cooperative Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal; Chief Education Officer Javed Ahmed; ExEn PWD R&B, ExEn Jal Shakti, ExEn PDD, besides other officers and staff from concerned departments.
