KISHTWAR, MARCH 30: To ensure the smooth and peaceful celebration of the Eid and Navratri festival, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan conducted a comprehensive review of preparedness today.
The DC visited key locations, including Gauri Shankar Mandir-Sarkoot, Chowgan (for Eid Namaz) to assess the arrangements and ground-level preparedness for the upcoming religious occasions.
During the visit, the DC directed the KDA and Municipal Council officials to ensure proper sanitation and necessary arrangements for the devotees.
The DC emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among various departments to maintain law and order, cleanliness, and provide essential services to the public during these festive occasions.
The DC was accompanied by ADC Kishtwar Pawan Kotwal, officials from the KDA, Municipality, and other concerned departments.
