UDHAMPUR, MAY 18: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa on Monday chaired a review meeting with officers and representatives of the National Highways Authority of India and National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL) to assess the progress of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) projects in District Udhampur.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh, along with officers and representatives from NHAI and NHIDCL.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of the Sudhmahadev-Goha road project and the Sudhmahadev-Dranga Tunnel project. He directed the concerned officers to expedite the disbursement of pending land compensation cases at the earliest.
The SDM Chenani was instructed to complete the verification of beneficiaries without delay. The Deputy Commissioner also stressed the need to remove all bottlenecks hindering the execution of the projects to ensure their timely completion.
