UDHAMPUR, OCTOBER 27: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Ananth Dwivedi today chaired a meeting of the District Level Telecom Committee to review the status of telecom infrastructure, mobile tower installations and other related projects in the district.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh, officers from the concerned departments and representatives of telecom service providers.
The DC undertook a comprehensive review of key telecom and digital connectivity initiatives including the Gati Shakti Sanchar Portal, BharatNet, the 4G Saturation Programme and Samridh Gram Panchayat, aimed at strengthening telecom infrastructure and expanding digital connectivity across the district.
Emphasising the need for coordinated efforts, the DC directed the stakeholder departments to work in close coordination with telecom service providers to resolve pending issues promptly and facilitate the timely execution of ongoing projects.
He further instructed the concerned departments and implementing agencies to expedite the implementation of telecom initiatives and ensure that the benefits of reliable digital connectivity reach every corner of the district within the stipulated timeframe.
