DC Srinagar chairs comprehensive meeting of Revenue Officers

SRINAGAR, APRIL 19: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat today chaired a meeting of Officers here at Meeting Hall of the DC Office to review the functioning and progress of revenue related matters.

At the outset, DC took a detailed review of Revenue sector with special focus on scanning and digitalization of massavis and other revenue related record of all villages of the District.

The meeting was appraised that out of 137 revenue villages, data regarding 79 revenue villages has been forwarded to Administrative Department while the data regarding remaining villages will be forwarded after completion of the Scanning and Digitalization process.

On the occasion, the DC directed to constitute Tehsil level Committee to ensure that scanning and digitalization of massavis is completed within a period of 15 days.

Similarly, RDSLR, Central was directed to provide all logistic support for scanning and digitalization of the left out villages.

The DC also asked the Revenue Officers to monitor the process of revenue related activities in respective jurisdiction on periodical basis so that people do not face any inconvenience while availing revenue related services.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioners of Srinagar, SDM East, SDM West, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, all Tehsildars and other senior functionaries of the Revenue Department of the District.
