SRINAGAR, AUGUST 25: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, who is also the President Zila Sainik Welfare Board today visited Zila Sainik Welfare office (ZSWO)/ Sainik Bhawan at Batmaloo and reviewed its functioning.
During the visit, DC inspected various units of the Zila Sanik office and took stock of the facilities.
DC was briefed about the role and responsibilities and functioning of the Zila Sainik Welfare office (ZSWO) Sainik Bhawan through a PowerPoint presentation.
He was also informed about the welfare measures being taken for the next of the kins of the martyrs.
DC/ President Zila Sainik Welfare Board also interacted with the staff of ZSWO and War Veterans. He assured them of all possible support from the district administration to further strengthen the office.
During the visit, Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Farooq Fareed, Nodal Officer, Abdul Rashid War and other concerned were present on the occasion.
