UDHAMPUR, JUNE 18: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today convened a meeting of Revenue Officers to review progress of the Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP), SVAMITVA, Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA), land acquisition matters and court cases in the district.
Discussions covered the status of digitisation and freezing of Jamabandis, disposal of grievances, updation of backlog mutations, recreation of Mussavies, progress under the SVAMITVA Scheme, utilisation of funds under FCR Capex and UT Capex Budget 2026-27, issuance of Fards, court cases and quality checks of updated Jamabandis.
The DC directed Revenue Officers to expedite updation of Jamabandis on a mission mode and conducted a tehsil-wise review of backlog mutations, emphasising accuracy and quality in land records digitisation. He instructed officers concerned to provide services within timelines prescribed under the PSGA and directed SDMs and Tehsildars to ensure early disposal of all pending court cases and revenue matters.
Among those present were Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Dr Umesh Shan, Sub-Divisional Magistrates and all Tehsildars.
