KULGAM, FEBRUARY 22: Drug Control Authorities Kulgam along with police today conducted a raid at a chemist shop at Frisal.
During the raid 37 bottles of Scheduled H1 formulation were recovered from the spot.
The erring incharge person failed to produce the purchase and sale of the said formulation and operation of the shop was disallowed/ suspended onspot for non maintenance of records of such habit forming drugs and court proceedings initiated in the matter.
Officers informed that the main aim of such raids is to ensure safe dispensing of essential medicine including Scheduled formulations..
Drug control organisation has already sensitized chemists to adopt a robust system for maintenance of records.
