BARAMULLA, DECEMBER 14: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today chaired a meeting at the DC office, here to review the progress of works under the District Capex Budget 2024-25, Aspirational Block, Aspirational Panchayat, SSY and other key sectors of public importance.

During the meeting, heads of various departments, including R&B, Animal Husbandry, Health and Education presented detailed updates on the status of works, including those allotted, tendered, and completed. The DDC conducted a comprehensive sector-wise review to assess the progress of developmental initiatives across the district.

Despite the ongoing winter season, Minga Sherpa directed all departments to maintain momentum and ensure timely completion of projects within the allocated time frame. He stressed the importance of meeting developmental targets for the financial year 2024-25 and urged departments to achieve maximum expenditure utilization by the end of December.

The DDC emphasized the need to ensure steady progress across all projects to achieve balanced development in the district.

The review highlighted significant physical and financial progress, with many works completed and others in advanced stages of execution.

The administration reaffirmed its commitment to delivering on developmental goals and ensuring effective implementation of public welfare projects despite seasonal challenges.
