UDHAMPUR, JULY 30: District Development Council Chairperson Udhampur, Lal Chand, along with Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, ADDC Rajinder Singh and DDC Councilor Puran Chand, visited Malhar and inaugurated a newly constructed kindergarten at Government High School Malhar in Block Udhampur.
The kindergarten, built by the Public Works Department Udhampur, was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 51.45 lakh under the Samagra Shiksha scheme.
The initiative aims to provide a conducive learning environment for the children, laying a strong foundation for their educational journey. The newly inaugurated kindergarten is expected to benefit numerous children in the Malhar area, providing them with modern facilities and a nurturing learning environment.
During the visit, the DDC Chairperson and DC also interacted with teachers and students. They emphasized the importance of increasing enrolment in government schools and encouraged teachers to impart quality education to the students.
