BHADERWAH, JULY 01: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Krishan Lal today inspected the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bhaderwah to review healthcare service delivery, assess patient care facilities and monitor progress of the new hospital building’s construction.
During the visit, the DDC inspected the Emergency Ward, inpatient wards, critical care units and other key sections of the hospital, and interacted with patients and attendants to obtain feedback on medical services, availability of medicines, diagnostic facilities and overall patient care. He also held discussions with doctors and healthcare staff on the hospital’s functioning and challenges in delivering quality healthcare.
The DDC directed hospital authorities to ensure cleanliness, adequate availability of essential medicines, proper maintenance of medical equipment and prompt, efficient treatment of patients. He appreciated the efforts of the doctors, paramedical staff and other healthcare workers, urging them to continue providing quality care with compassion and professionalism.
The DDC also reviewed the pace and quality of the new hospital building’s construction, and instructed the executing agency to maintain construction standards and ensure timely completion so that improved healthcare infrastructure is made available to the region without delay.
The DDC also reviewed the hospital’s emergency preparedness and availability of critical medical equipment, stressing that all essential healthcare facilities should remain fully functional and adequately equipped to cater to the medical needs of the public.
Among those present were Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal, Chief Planning Officer Doda Manesh Kumar Manhas, Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr Vinod Sharma and Block Medical Officer Bhaderwah Dr Versha Sharma, besides senior doctors and officers of the Health Department.
