DODA, OCTOBER 07: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda Harvinder Singh today chaired a comprehensive review meeting at Mini Meeting Hall DC Office Complex to assess the progress made under District Capex Budget 2025–26.
During the meeting, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Manesh Kumar Manhas presented a detailed sector-wise overview of the ongoing and proposed works under the District Capex Budget. He informed the chair about the physical and financial progress achieved so far across different departments.
While reviewing the progress, the DDC Doda laid special emphasis on completing the ongoing works before mid-November 2025.
He also set a target of achieving 100% allotment of works by the end of this week, stressing timely tendering, allotment and execution in accordance with quality standards.
He further stressed on strengthening monitoring mechanism and coordination among departments for effective implementation of the developmental works. He directed the concerned officers to submit regular progress reports and ensure that all projects are aligned with the district’s developmental priorities.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, SE Hydraulic Circle, ACD, Chief Education Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Executive Engineers PHE and R&B, AD Planning and officers from across the line departments.
