POONCH, SEPTEMBER 22: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch today chaired a review meeting at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex to assess the physical and financial progress of the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) at Behra-Mendhar. He also reviewed the status of land acquisition for establishment of EMRSs at Mankote and Danna Shah Sattar.
The meeting was attended by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Mendhar, Principal EMRS Behra Mendhar, Chief Planning Officer, Executive Engineers of PWD (R&B) Poonch and Mendhar, Jal Shakti (PHE) Mendhar and JPDCL Poonch. Officers stationed outside the district headquarters participated through video conferencing (VC).
The DDC reviewed the physical and financial progress of the ongoing EMRS work and sought updated status reports from the concerned departments. He also took detailed feedback regarding the requisite land documents and other requirements pertaining to the proposed locations at Mankote and Danna Shah Sattar.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure close coordination among all stakeholders and expedite pending formalities to facilitate timely progress of the projects. He stressed upon timely submission of updated information and adherence to the prescribed timelines.
