POONCH, JUNE 18: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting with officers from line departments to review the implementation of the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) in the district.
The meeting focused on conducting a comprehensive gap analysis and ground truthing to identify and resolve shortcomings in the delivery of the government schemes in tribal areas.
The DDC stressed the need for proactive measures to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries are covered in a transparent manner.
During the review, the DDC held detailed deliberations with officers from the line departments, directing them to chalk out a coordinated roadmap for the successful implementation of the Abhiyan. Emphasizing a mission-mode approach, the DC urged officials to work in close coordination and reach every household and individual in tribal villages.
The 15-day DAJGUA campaign, which commenced on June 15, will continue till June 30, aims to raise awareness and ensure 100% saturation of government welfare schemes in all tribal habitations.
